About the Hov Project
The Hov Project collects Occupancy Data by observing vehicles on the freeways.
Occupancy Data is used to compute various statistics such as the Hov Violation Rate for a given location.

The current data summary includes the following statistics:
Process
Data is collected in Sessions that last approximately thirty minutes. During a day of collection, Observers will collect for about three or four sessions each.
The data is then uploaded to our server and then validated. Once the data has been validated it is ready to be used on the website.
