|
The three major goals for this study of BSTS are: Goal 1: Develop a recommendation for WSDOT as to the optimal time for placing BSTs on HMA overlays and BSTs on BSTs. Goal 2: Complimentary to Goal 1 is to examine how high ADT levels can be for application of WSDOT BSTs. This has been discussed at prior BST workshops but needs further refinement. Goal 3: Fully investigate and recommend a BST design method for use by WSDOT. Evidence to date suggests that adaptation of an existing method (most likely McLeod) would be sufficient. |
