Objective

The proposed project will have the following objectives:
1. Employ the interview methodology developed in Phase I for evaluating ITS projects.
2. Document the technical and institutional issues and challenges of ITS projects and the processes by which partners addressed and resolved these issues.
3. Identify the key characteristics of ITS applications that contribute to project success and conditions under which particular technologies are effective.
4. Make recommendations for current and future ITS projects based on lessons learned.
5. Increase industry knowledge of the benefits of ITS investmets.
