Recent Updates

Many Updates

New pages have been added to allow better session auditing including:

  • Duplicate removal
  • Session comparisons

Sessions have also been updated to include the name of the person who has verified them, and now HOV/GP status is determined on a per session status.

A table to store construction history has been added, however it is not yet in use.

Collection points will be updated soon to indicate the number of passengers required for the HOV lanes (usualy 2).

New Server

The Hov database is now running on our new server. There may be some issues with images loading, though these should be sorted out quickly.

A few bugs have been fixed.
  • Comments are now displayed correctly in the Batch Summary
  • A warning is given when users request data that may fall on the late night HOV switch period
Site Updates

Minor tweaks have been made to some of the administrative features.

Recent Changes:
  • Spike Check only shows unchecked data
  • View Unchecked only shows unchecked sessions
  • View Unchecked menus have been cleaned up
  • Batch Update now has appropriate links back to View Unchecked
Database Updates

The database has been undergoing various updates recently. This will allow the data to be applied as spatial data with tools such as ArcMap.

Recent Changes:
  • 2000 and 1999 legacy data has been imported
  • Corridors now have explicit state routes
  • Sites now have a field to accomodate ARM values
Menus, Search, and More

A menu bar has been added as well as search capabilities. The observer names can now be changed to fix instances where people tried to cheat the system so now 'Ph', 'P.H.', and 'pH' can all be made into the same entry. News can also be edited and submitted through a web interface now.
